This Brigid Statue measures 10-3/8" H x 8-1/2" W x 5-1/2" D and is sculpted by Paul Borda of Dryad Design in polyresin with a natural-textured finish, depicting Brigid in her three aspects, Midwife, Blacksmith, and Poetess, on a crescent-shaped base with a Brigid's cross, a flaming arrow, a sacred well, and names inscribed around the base including one in Ogham script.

Brigid holds a genuinely dual place in real, living Irish heritage: she is honored as a pre-Christian Celtic goddess connected to the forge, poetry, and healing wells, and she is venerated today as a Christian saint, St. Brigid of Kildare, in currently-practiced Irish Catholic devotion; this statue's cross, flaming arrow, and sacred well draw on both strands of her veneration, and we describe it as a decorative art piece paying tribute to that dual mythology and devotion, not a claim that only one interpretation is correct, nor a claim of ritual potency, a guaranteed spiritual effect, or endorsement by any living religious community.

What this statue reliably delivers is a genuine, artist-sculpted polyresin piece built around Brigid's three well-documented aspects and a set of specific, honest symbolic details rather than a generic goddess likeness.

Brigid's cross, the flaming arrow representing her connection to the forge and smithcraft, and the sacred well referencing her healing waters are each well-documented elements of her veneration, and the Ogham script inscribed around the crescent base adds a further layer of authentic Celtic detail, Ogham being a real ancient Irish alphabet used to inscribe names on stone and wood. We carry two Brigid Statue listings from the same design by Paul Borda of Dryad Design, and this is the standard, natural-textured finish; our other listing is a distinct white-finish colorway, and its description also notes prayer cloths at the well that this listing doesn't call out, a genuine difference beyond finish color. At 10-3/8 inches tall on an 8-1/2-by-5-1/2-inch crescent base, this is a substantial centerpiece for real shelf, mantel, or altar presence, and its natural-textured finish gives Brigid's three aspects a warm, earthen look distinct from the white-finish version.

Display the statue indoors away from direct sunlight, dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and handle it carefully since polyresin can chip.
