Sixteen 10ml bottles, and the useful detail is on the labels: each one carries its own short description of how the oil actually smells. Eucalyptus reads "camphorous, fresh, sweet, woody"; patchouli "musky, earthy"; rosemary "warm, herbaceous, slightly sweet"; lemon "fresh, clean, sharp". For anyone building a first shelf, that turns sixteen unfamiliar names into something you can choose between without opening every cap.
The set is eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree, bergamot, patchouli, rose, rosemary, jasmine, lemon, lemongrass, cinnamon, sandalwood, sweet orange, vanilla, lavender and ylang ylang. The bottles are amber glass with gold screw caps, seated in a black foam tray inside a printed gift box, and two glass droppers are included so you can fit one to whichever bottle you are working with rather than pouring.
A word about the range, because the price says something the packaging does not. Sixteen bottles for the price of a single premium oil cannot contain true rose otto, jasmine absolute, Indian sandalwood or vanilla extract — those materials cost many multiples of this per bottle, and vanilla and jasmine cannot be steam-distilled into essential oil at all. The lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree, lemongrass, rosemary, lemon and sweet orange are the kind of oils that genuinely are affordable at this scale. Treat the florals and the sandalwood as scent rather than as material for skincare, and the box's "therapeutic grade" wording as branding, since no authority issues such a grade.
Ten millilitres is roughly two hundred drops, so at three to five drops a session each bottle covers forty to sixty runs in a diffuser. That is enough to find out which four or five you reach for repeatedly, which is really what a set this size is for — after that, buy those few in a size you can finish.
