Jojoba isn't a true oil at all — it's technically a liquid wax that closely resembles the skin's own natural sebum. Cold-pressed from Simmondsia chinensis seeds, it's lightweight, fast-absorbing, with a very mild aroma and a golden color.
It's non-comedogenic — meaning it has a low tendency to clog pores — which makes it one of the more versatile everyday oils available. Many people use it as a daily face oil, a makeup remover, a hair gloss, or a scalp treatment, and it also stands out among carrier oils for its naturally stable composition, which resists oxidation better than most.
It also works well as a carrier base for essential oil blends, at roughly 1% dilution for the face or 2–3% for the body.
For external use only. Patch test before first use, avoid contact with eyes, and keep out of reach of children and pets.
