Kukui nut oil is cold-pressed from the nuts of the candlenut tree, a traditional Hawaiian skincare oil used for generations across the islands. It's a remarkably featherlight oil with a very mild, nutty aroma and a pale golden color.
Its light texture and excellent massage glide make it a favorite for full-body massage and everyday moisturizing without a greasy after-feel. Many people also massage it onto scars or stretch mark areas as part of a regular routine — we describe that as a traditional, common use rather than a guaranteed cosmetic outcome, and results vary from person to person.
It also works well as a carrier base for essential oil blends, at roughly 1% dilution for the face or 2–3% for the body.
For external use only. Patch test first if you have a known tree nut allergy, avoid contact with eyes, and consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
