The Loki chalice puts the trickster figure of Norse mythology front and center, sculpted and hand-painted in cold-cast resin rather than rendered as a flat print. Standing 6 3/4 inches tall, the detailing captures a character built on cunning and shapeshifting, giving it a distinct presence on a shelf or bar cart.
A removable stainless steel cup sits inside the sculpted resin body, so the chalice functions as real drinkware for wine, spirits, or any other beverage, not just as a display piece. Where it stands apart from several of our other sculpted chalices is that this insert is dishwasher-safe, which matters if it's going into regular rotation rather than special-occasion-only use.
That practicality is really the point of the design: hand-painted detail without the extra care burden that usually comes with it. Wipe the resin exterior with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth to protect the painted finish, and let the dishwasher handle the steel liner. Set alongside other pieces from our chalice collection, it fits naturally into a Norse-themed display without asking for special treatment.
For anyone who's hesitated to buy a hand-painted resin chalice because of hand-wash-only care instructions, this is the more forgiving option — the sculptural detail is on the outside, and the part that actually touches your drink cleans up in a normal cycle. It suits collectors who lean toward Norse mythology as well as anyone who simply wants a goblet with more character than a plain metal cup on their bar cart or dinner table.
At $32.33, it sits in the middle of our chalice pricing, reflecting both the sculpted figure work and the added convenience of a dishwasher-safe insert compared to several hand-wash-only pieces in our lineup.
