Meadowfoam seed oil is cold-pressed from Limnanthes alba seeds into a medium-weight oil with a very mild, faintly sweet aroma and a pale golden color. It's naturally rich in long-chain fatty acids, which give it an unusually long shelf life compared to most carrier oils.
