Choosing a signature scent for a reception or a treatment room is a decision you live with for months, and no description survives contact with the actual room — the same oil reads differently in a stone lobby than in a carpeted suite.

It comes in a sealed aluminium bottle rather than glass, which is the standard for oils intended to sit in a stockroom for months: no light reaches the contents at all. The oil goes neat into the reservoir of a cold-air or nebulising scent machine, the kind stocked in our humidifier and diffuser range. If you intend to use a water-based ultrasonic unit instead, check its manual first — some manufacturers permit aroma oil in the tank and some specify essential oil alone.
A hundred millilitres is roughly two thousand drops. For a single machine running intermittently in one room that is a long time; for a unit running through opening hours it is a trial rather than a supply, and the same profiles are available in a 500ml bottle once you have settled on one. Start on the lowest useful output and raise it over a few days — staff adapt to a scent that visitors still notice.
