Five hundred millilitres is the working size. The supplier's own parameter sheet puts a scent machine's consumption at roughly 150ml a month, which makes one bottle about three months of continuous running on a single unit — the difference between trialling a signature scent and actually operating one.
The range is twenty-four hotel profiles, identical to the ones offered at 100ml. It runs from the familiar names — Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Westin, Holiday Inn, InterContinental — through to the quieter luxury end: Four Seasons, St Regis, Rosewood, Mandarin Oriental, Sofitel, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski, Shangri-La. They are separate formulations and are priced individually, so you pay for the profile you chose rather than an averaged figure across the range.
It arrives in a sealed aluminium bottle, 190mm tall and 74mm across, with a two-year shelf life stated by the manufacturer. Metal admits no daylight at all, which matters for stock that sits between refills. The oil goes neat into the reservoir of a cold-air or nebulising machine of the kind stocked in our humidifier and diffuser range; if you plan to use a water-based ultrasonic unit instead, check its manual first, as some manufacturers permit aroma oil in the tank and others specify essential oil alone.
This is a volume sold for rooms that never quite empty — hotel lobbies, shopping malls, bars, reception and meeting rooms, shop floors and office buildings, which is exactly where the supplier photographs it. In spaces like those, calibrate for the person walking in rather than the person at the desk: staff stop registering a scent that visitors still notice, so start at the lowest useful output and raise it over several days. The manufacturer describes the oil as eight times concentrated and free of fillers, wording we pass on rather than adopt, and lists its contents as plant extractions, fragrance materials and volatile liquids formulated for diffusers.
