This mat prints a simple, rooted-and-branching tree at the center of a 12 by 8 inch piece of felt, with a small mark at the base of the trunk to give a pendulum somewhere specific to hover before a session starts.
We kept the artwork to one tree rather than a dense chart, since the point of a mat like this is a calm surface, not competing visual noise. The image reads as a plain growth and connection motif - roots holding steady while branches keep reaching - without tying itself to one narrow belief system's specific diagram.
The felt base handles the practical side: it grips lightly under a resting hand, dampens small surface vibrations, and protects the table or altar top underneath. It's compatible with any pendulum you already own, since nothing about the layout is matched to a particular weight or chain length.
Outside of active pendulum work, the tree image also functions as a small, quiet altar centerpiece or a base under a candle holder or plant cutting. To be clear about what this is: a printed felt accessory for personal reflection, and we don't claim that a pendulum or this mat produces accurate or predictive results - what you take from a session is your own interpretation.
It works well for anyone who wants a calm, symbol-light surface rather than a heavily illustrated one, and it suits both a beginner just getting a first pendulum and someone who already has a practice and wants a simple, portable mat to add to it. As a small gift, the plain tree motif reads clearly without needing an explanation of what it means.
If growth and grounding are the theme of your session, a woody scent from our essential oil collection or a simple blend from carrier oils can round out the space.
