Pine brings the forest indoors — clean, crisp, and green, with a woody, resinous sweetness that immediately evokes open air and cold mornings. Steam-distilled from Scots pine needles, it arrives undiluted and single-botanical.
Diffused alone, it creates a bright, refreshing atmosphere; blended with eucalyptus and peppermint it is especially clearing, or with cedarwood and frankincense for something more grounded.
Many people diffuse pine to evoke a forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) atmosphere indoors — we describe that practice honestly rather than making clinical claims about its effects. Its alpha-pinene content also gives it a genuinely fresh character in DIY cleaning sprays.
