Pomegranate seed oil is genuinely uncommon among carrier oils — it's naturally rich in punicic acid (omega-5), a fatty acid found in very few plants. Pressed from Punica granatum seeds, it has a lightweight-to-medium texture, a mild, subtly nutty aroma, and a warm golden-amber color.
It's fast-absorbing and non-greasy, which makes it comfortable for both morning and evening use, and many people reach for it specifically for dry, mature, or sun-stressed skin. We describe its moisturizing and antioxidant qualities honestly, based on its documented fatty acid content, rather than promising specific results like fewer wrinkles or age spots — individual results vary and we don't make those claims.
Apply it after water-based serums and seal with moisturizer, or add a drop to your night cream for extra richness; it also works as a carrier for essential oils at roughly 1% for the face or 2% for the body.
