Some chalices are built to be used first and looked at second; the Triple Moon Goddess Chalice reverses that order. Its fine polyresin base is hand-painted and polished to bring out the sculpted forms of the Maiden, Mother, and Crone, three faces of the moon's cycle worked into the stem and body rather than printed onto the surface.

A removable stainless steel cup sits inside that sculpted base, so the piece still functions as genuine drinkware — water, wine, or an herbal infusion goes into the steel insert, not directly against the painted resin. At 3 inches by 3 inches by 6 3/4 inches tall with a 5.3 oz capacity, it's sized for a focused pour rather than a full round, which suits solitary altar work or a small, intimate gathering rather than a large shared table.

Because the cup lifts out, cleaning doesn't mean scrubbing around fine painted detail — wash the steel insert separately with mild soap, then wipe the resin exterior with a barely damp cloth rather than submerging the whole piece. It's hand-wash only, which is the trade-off for the level of sculptural detail on the base, and it's worth letting both pieces dry fully before putting the cup back into the base. As part of a wider setup, it sits well alongside other pieces from our spiritual and altar decor, particularly anything built around the element of Water.

Placed at the center of an altar, the sculpted Goddess form gives the space a clear visual anchor, something a plain metal cup or a flat-printed design doesn't offer in the same way. Many people keep it out on display between uses rather than tucked into a cabinet, since the hand-painted detailing holds up better to being seen than to being handled constantly.

At $33.15, it's positioned as a dedicated altar centerpiece rather than a casual everyday cup — something chosen for what it represents on the shelf as much as for what it holds during a rite. Anyone drawn to sculptural detail over plain metal will find more to look at here than on a simpler chalice.
