Aries opens the zodiac wheel, and in astrological tradition the sign is ruled by Mars and carries the Fire element — a pairing traditionally associated with courage, initiative, and the energy of new beginnings. The Zodiac Aries 7 Day Candle is built for anyone who wants a steady, deep red flame to sit with while they think through a fresh start, whether that is a project, a move, or simply a new week ahead.
Housed in a reusable 8.125-inch glass jar, this candle is poured from a premium wax blend around a cotton wick and designed to burn continuously for approximately seven days when tended properly. The deep red glass reflects Aries’ traditional fire-sign association, and the tall jar format is meant to sit undisturbed on an altar, desk, or windowsill for the full week rather than being lit and blown out repeatedly.
Devotional candles like this one are typically part of a daily practice — lighting the wick, spending a few quiet minutes with an intention in mind, then extinguishing it fully until the next session. Framed this way, the candle works as a focal point for reflection rather than a promise of any particular outcome. In astrological tradition Mars and Fire are linked to courage and momentum, but lighting this candle does not cause anything to happen on its own; it simply gives that tradition a physical, daily shape.
It suits Aries natives marking a birthday, fire-sign devotees building out an altar, or anyone drawn to the traditional correspondence between Mars, Fire, and initiative as they set their own intentions around starting something new. It also makes a considered gift for someone beginning a new chapter, paired with a note about the tradition behind the sign.
As with any open-flame ritual candle, it is meant to be burned mindfully: on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and anything flammable, and never left unattended for even a moment.
