Dimollaure's Organic Unrefined Shea Butter is sold in five sizes — from a 50g block for a first try to a 500g block for anyone who's already made it part of their routine. It's sustainably sourced and left completely unrefined, so what arrives is close to what came out of the shea nut itself: a solid, cream-to-ivory butter that melts the moment it meets warm skin.

The formula is 100% Organic Unrefined Shea Butter, naturally containing Vitamins A, E, and F. Vitamin E offers antioxidant support and helps the skin's barrier hold onto moisture. Vitamin F, the linoleic acid component, reinforces that same barrier and reduces water loss, which is part of why shea butter feels so comforting on very dry or sensitive skin. Vitamin A supports normal skin cell turnover — a real, well-documented function, though it's worth being clear that no topical butter reverses sun damage or the visible signs of aging; any cosmetic benefit here is limited to surface moisturization.

It's non-comedogenic and absorbs faster than many people expect from a solid butter, which is part of why it's suitable even for facial use. The formula is gentle enough for all skin types, including sensitive skin and babies, though as with any new product on a baby's skin, a smaller patch test area and a quick check with a pediatrician are worth the extra few minutes.

As a full-body moisturizer applied after bathing, it works into damp skin without needing much product. For very dry skin or the look of stretch marks, applying twice daily to the affected area over several weeks is the standard approach — consistency matters more than quantity.

Left on the hair for twenty to thirty minutes before shampooing, it functions as a deep conditioning treatment for dry or damaged ends, and melted down it becomes a base for DIY body butters, lip balms, and soap. Stored tightly closed away from heat and light, it carries a shelf life of approximately 2 years.

Five sizes, one sustainably sourced ingredient, endless uses. Discover more African-sourced staples in our African Natural Products collection, or pair it with a bar from our Black Soap collection.
