Ginger grass occupies a fascinating aromatic space between lemongrass and palmarosa — fresh, slightly rosy, with a dry, grassy quality that is immediately clean and unexpectedly complex. Steam-distilled, it arrives undiluted and single-botanical.
Diffused alone, it creates a clean, refreshing atmosphere; blended with bergamot and geranium it's a bright, balanced combination. Its geraniol content gives it a soft, floral top note reminiscent of its cymbopogon relatives, lemongrass and palmarosa.
Diluted into a carrier oil, ginger grass is a favorite in skincare for its fresh, purifying character, and works well as a middle note bridging citrus top notes with heavier floral or woody bases in a blend.
