Juniper here reads as light and earthy rather than sharp or resinous, a gentler take on the same blue-cone conifer that flavors gin and has been burned for purification in European practice for centuries, quite separately from anything in Tibetan tradition. This particular blend uses it as the lead note against a base of other Tibetan botanicals rather than presenting a straight juniper aroma.
