This mat prints a single open-palm design with a small eye detail at its center on a 12 by 8 inch piece of felt, with a small mark near the base of the hand for a pendulum to hover over before a session begins.
The open-hand image shares its design lineage with the Hamsa hand seen across several cultures and generally reads as a gesture of protection and open-handed goodwill. We print it purely as a calm, recognizable visual focus rather than a claim about what it does.
The felt base handles the practical side: it grips lightly under a resting hand, quiets small surface vibrations, and protects the table or altar top underneath. It works with any pendulum you already own, since the layout isn't matched to a particular weight or chain length.
Outside of active pendulum work, the same design also functions as a small altar accent or a base under a candle holder or dish. To be clear about what this is: a printed felt accessory for personal reflection, and we don't claim that a pendulum or this mat produces accurate or predictive results - what you take from a session is your own interpretation.
It suits anyone who wants a calmer, less symbol-heavy surface than a star or wheel design, and works equally well for a first-time pendulum user and someone who already has an established practice. Given its open, welcoming image, it also makes a thoughtful small gift for a friend going through a difficult stretch who's shown interest in this kind of reflection practice.
