This mat prints a single point-up pentacle - a five-pointed star inside a circle - at the center of a 12 by 8 inch piece of felt, with a small dot marking the exact middle of the design for a pendulum to hover over.
We kept the artwork to the star and circle alone, without extra runes or text layered around it, so the mat reads clearly and doesn't need a legend to interpret. For anyone whose practice already leans on the five classical elements - earth, air, fire, water, spirit - the five points give a session somewhere specific to reference.
The felt base handles the practical side of things: it grips lightly under a resting hand, dampens small surface vibrations, and protects the table or altar top underneath. It works with any pendulum you already own, since nothing about the layout is matched to a particular weight or chain length.
Outside of active pendulum work, the same design also functions as a simple altar centerpiece or a base under a candle holder or small dish. To be clear about what this is: a printed felt accessory for personal reflection, and we don't claim that a pendulum or this mat produces accurate or predictive results - what you take from a session is your own interpretation.
It suits anyone whose practice already leans on the five-element framework and wants a physical surface built around that shape, as well as newcomers who find a single clear symbol easier to start with than a busy chart. At this size it sits comfortably on a desk, a yoga mat, or a small altar shelf without taking up much room.
