Backflow incense cones are made with a hollow core so their smoke sinks instead of rises, spilling downward across whatever the burner is shaped to hold. The Tree Man and Mushrooms Backflow Cone Burner takes that mechanism and builds a small woodland scene around it: a whimsical tree-man figure surrounded by clustered mushrooms, sized at 6 inches tall by 5 inches wide.

It's cast in polyresin, a material chosen for figural decor because it holds fine sculpted detail — the bark texture, the mushroom caps, the tree man's expression — better than simpler ceramic molds typically allow. The burner takes a backflow cone with a hole at the bottom, seated so the downward-flowing smoke settles around the figure's base like mist through a forest floor, which is the effect the whole design is built to show off.

At its size, it works equally well as a standalone decorative object or as active incense equipment — the woodland motif holds visual interest even when no cone is burning, which isn't true of every backflow piece. That makes it a reasonable gift for anyone who collects whimsical or fantasy-themed decor, not only people specifically looking for incense equipment.

Like the rest of this burner family, it's built for backflow cones only, so a regular stick or solid cone won't create the cascading effect. A single cone typically burns for ten to twenty minutes, making it suited to a short creative break or a wind-down session rather than continuous use; for scent through the rest of the day, a bottle from our Fragrance Oil collection fills in between.

See our Aroma Lamp collection for a tealight-warmed alternative that doesn't need a burning cone.
