A: Yes. Bud oil is sweeter and most popular for aromatherapy. Leaf oil is sharper and more herbaceous; stem sits between the two. All are eugenol-rich and quite potent—use low dilutions on skin.

A: Clove is a “hot” oil. Dilute to about 0.1–0.5% for adults (1–5 drops per 30 ml/1 oz carrier). Avoid face, lips, and sensitive areas; patch test first and use externally only. Not phototoxic.

A: Yes—start with 1–3 drops per 100 ml water (it’s strong). It layers beautifully with orange, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cedarwood, and spruce for cozy, festive blends.

A: Avoid use on infants/young children; use extra caution during pregnancy/nursing. If you have sensitive skin, bleeding disorders, or take anticoagulants, consult a professional before use. Do not ingest. Store tightly capped in a cool, dark place; use within ~2–3 years and discard if the aroma turns sharp or “medicinal.”
