Why Choose HIQILI 100ml Essential Oil

Traceable to a place and a process. Madagascar, Cananga odorata, steam-distilled from the flowers, Annonaceae. Most listings at this price say “100% pure” and stop. Naming the origin and the extraction method is a smaller claim but a checkable one.

Paperwork most sellers cannot produce. HIQILI publishes a safety data sheet, IFRA conformity certificate, allergen declaration, certificate of analysis and a GC profile for its oils. The GC analysis is the one that matters — it is a chemical fingerprint of what is actually in the bottle, and it is the only real answer to “is this pure?”. Ask before ordering and we will request the set for your specific oil.

“Therapeutic grade”, and what it is worth. The box carries that phrase, as almost every essential oil box does. No regulator or standards body issues such a grade, so it is the maker’s own wording rather than an independent certification — which is exactly why the GC analysis above is the claim worth asking for instead.

What the rose and jasmine really are. At this price for 100ml, treat the rose and jasmine variants as scented preparations built around those flowers rather than true absolutes — a genuine rose absolute costs many multiples of this per millilitre, let alone per bottle. The ylang ylang, eucalyptus, peppermint, clove, cinnamon and citronella raise no such question.

Somewhere to run them. Five drops in a tank is plenty for ylang ylang. The humidifier and diffuser range covers ultrasonic and cold-air units, and the oil burners need only a tealight.

HIQILI 100ml Essential Oil Benefits

A flower that smells almost overripe. Ylang ylang is the heaviest of the white florals — sweet, creamy, faintly banana-like — and it is the note that gives a blend its lushness. Two drops read as luxurious; five read as a cloud. It rewards restraint more than any other oil in this list.

Twelve scents built for blending. Rose, jasmine and vanilla for sweetness, bergamot for lift, sandalwood for weight, cinnamon and clove for warmth, eucalyptus and peppermint for clarity, citronella for the summer terrace. This particular twelve leans perfume rather than medicine cabinet.

The 100ml is the sensible size. HIQILI sells the same oils at 10ml, 30ml and 100ml, and the price per millilitre falls as the bottle grows. If an oil is already in your rotation, the small bottles stop making sense.

A fitted glass dropper. Counted drops are what make a blend repeatable. A pipette in the cap means you can write down five and three and two, and get the same result again next month.

How to Use HIQILI 100ml Essential Oil

In a diffuser, use less than you think. Three to five drops per 100ml of water for the ylang ylang, jasmine or rose; five to eight for the lighter oils. Ylang ylang in particular turns cloying past a certain point, and an overdosed room takes hours to clear.

On skin, always diluted. One to two percent in a carrier oil, which is six to twelve drops in 30ml, and half that for the face. Patch test on the inside of the elbow and wait a day before committing to a blend you plan to wear.

Building a perfume blend. Bergamot on top, ylang ylang, rose or jasmine through the middle, sandalwood or vanilla underneath to hold it. Work in counted drops and write the numbers down — that is the whole difference between a happy accident and a formula.

In the bath. Never straight onto the water. Premix four or five drops into a tablespoon of carrier oil or unscented base first, then stir that through.

In candles and soap. Add off the heat and pour a single test before committing a batch. Essential oils behave nothing like fragrance oils in wax, and the delicate florals lose the most in the pour.

Main Ingredients

One botanical per bottle. Each variant is a single plant's oil, not a blend. The ylang ylang is Cananga odorata, steam-distilled from the flowers in Madagascar, described by HIQILI as balsamic, exotic, floral and sweet.

Twelve botanicals, twelve chemistries. Viscosity, colour, staying power and skin tolerance differ from oil to oil, so nothing you learn with the eucalyptus transfers automatically to the cinnamon.

Additive-free, per the maker. HIQILI states no additives or carriers and marks the range non-GMO and not tested on animals. The GC profile is the document that substantiates the first of those, and we can request it for a specific oil.

Shelf Life & Storage

Five years, as stated for this oil. HIQILI gives ylang ylang a five-year shelf life stored properly. Treat that as the maker's figure rather than a guarantee, and follow any date printed on the bottle in preference to it.

Cool, dark, capped, upright. Heat and daylight age an oil faster than time does. Keep the cap firm, store the bottle standing so oil is not sitting against the dropper bulb, and keep it off sunny sills.

Bergamot is the one to watch. Citrus oxidises fastest and turns sharp when it goes. The ylang ylang, sandalwood and vanilla are far more forgiving — heavy florals and base notes age slowly.

Trust your nose. An oil that smells flat, sharp or vaguely of paint has turned, whatever the date says. Do not put it on skin at that point.

Safety Instructions

Never neat, never swallowed. These are concentrated plant extracts. Dilute before any skin contact, patch test each new oil, keep them clear of eyes and mucous membranes, and do not take them internally.

Ylang ylang in quantity causes headaches. This is well known and worth saying plainly — it is a heavy oil and overdoing it in a closed room gives some people a headache or nausea. Use fewer drops and ventilate.

Cinnamon and clove are the hot ones. Both irritate skin at concentrations the florals tolerate easily. Treat them as the exception in any recipe rather than swapping them in drop for drop.

Bergamot and sunlight. Bergamot can be phototoxic. Keep it off skin that will see direct sun within twelve hours of application.

Children, pregnancy and pets. Diffuse briefly in a ventilated room a pet can leave freely, keep bottles out of reach, and ask a professional if you are pregnant, nursing or under medical care.

Caution & Disclaimer

Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, and sensitive areas. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin. Ylang ylang is a heavy oil — use sparingly and ventilate the room.

FAQs
