A: Cold-pressed lemon can be phototoxic. After topical use, avoid sun/UV exposure on treated skin for 12–24 hours. Steam-distilled lemon is generally considered non-phototoxic, but still use conservative dilutions and patch test.

A: Always dilute. Face: 0.2–0.5% (1–3 drops per 30 ml carrier). Body: 0.5–2% (3–12 drops per 30 ml). External use only; avoid eyes and mucous membranes and discontinue if irritation occurs.

A: Diffuser: 3–6 drops per 100 ml water. DIY cleaner: 15–30 drops in 500 ml water/vinegar base (shake before each use). For candles/soaps, follow your base supplier’s EO limits and test small batches—citrus notes can fade with heat.
