In a diffuser. 4–6 drops for an immediate room-freshening effect; blend with peppermint for an invigorating combination, or with lavender and lemon for a balanced, cleansing one.

Steam inhalation. Add 3–4 drops to a bowl of hot water, tent a towel over your head, and breathe in for 5–10 minutes.

For massage. Dilute 3–5 drops in 15ml of carrier oil and massage into the chest, back, or tired areas.

Natural cleaning. Add 15–20 drops to a spray bottle with water and a small amount of castile soap for a fresh-smelling surface cleaner.

One ingredient. 100% Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) leaf oil — nothing blended in.

Cool, dark, tightly capped. Heat and daylight age the oil fastest — store the bottle upright, away from direct sun.

General guide. Stored properly, most single-botanical oils hold their character for a year or more; treat that as guidance and follow any date on the bottle first.

Mind what it sits on. Undiluted oil can mark polished or painted surfaces — decant over something wipeable.

Dilute before skin contact. Always mix into a carrier oil before applying — do not use undiluted on the body.

Patch test first. Test a small area of skin before full application.

Not for children under 6. The 1,8-cineole content can cause respiratory distress in young children.

Care with pregnancy or health conditions. Consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or with known health conditions.
