Why Choose Our Encens en corde

This collection features Rope Incense — tightly twisted cords of aromatic herbs, resins, and botanicals in the Tibetan and Himalayan monastic tradition, burned slowly to release a deep, earthy fragrance.

How Rope Incense Differs from Sticks

Unlike a bamboo-core stick, rope incense is made purely from compressed herbal and resin material twisted into a cord. It tends to burn cooler, slower, and with a smokier, more herbal aroma than typical stick incense, and is traditionally associated with prayer, mindfulness, and purifying a space.

How to Burn Rope Incense Safely

Light one end of the rope and let the flame die down to an ember, then rest it on a heat-safe holder or in a bowl of ash or sand in a well-ventilated room, away from flammable materials and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended.
