Why Choose PHATOIL 100ml Essential Oil

The price list tells you something. A single-botanical range where every bottle costs the same is worth a second look, because the plants behind them do not cost the same. This one is priced oil by oil, which is the shape you want.

The size you can actually use up. Ten millilitres is a sample. At 100ml you can diffuse a favourite daily, blend with it and still have enough left to be generous with, without the price per millilitre of a tiny bottle.

Honest about the label. The bottle reads “therapeutic grade” and the images show an FDA facility registration. Neither is a quality certification, and we say so on the page rather than letting the packaging imply otherwise.

Something to diffuse it in. These go straight into an ultrasonic diffuser or humidifier. Our humidifier and diffuser range sets out the run times and tank sizes, which is what decides how many drops you actually need.

PHATOIL 100ml Essential Oil Benefits

Thirty-one single botanicals. Frankincense and vetiver at the base, lavender and rosemary through the middle, sweet orange and grapefruit at the top. One plant per bottle, so a blend you like can be written down in drops and made again.

Priced by the plant. Rose and jasmine cost several times what sweet orange does here, because a field of roses yields a fraction of what a crate of orange peel gives. That spread is the shape an honest single-note range should have.

Three years, in amber glass. PHATOIL states a three-year shelf life and marks the box for 24 months once opened. At 100ml a bottle lasts long enough that daylight has time to work on it, which is exactly what the amber is for.

Boxed, with its own dropper. A printed box and a separate glass pipette come with every bottle. The cap seals properly because the dropper is not fitted into it, and the whole thing is ready to give exactly as it arrives.

How to Use PHATOIL 100ml Essential Oil

In a diffuser or humidifier. Three to six drops into the water of a unit rated for essential oil, run for sixty to one hundred and twenty minutes, is PHATOIL's own guidance. Start at the lower end — a strong single note fills a room faster than a blend does.

On skin, always diluted. The supplier suggests one to five drops per 8ml of carrier oil for massage, which lands around a one to four per cent dilution. Stay at the lower end for the face, for children and for anyone with sensitive skin, and patch test a new oil before using it properly.

In water, mix it into something first. For a bath or foot soak, stir four to eight drops into a tablespoon of carrier oil, unscented bath base or full-fat milk before it goes in. Neat oil does not disperse in water — it floats and lands on skin at full strength, which is where bath irritation comes from.

Steam, carefully. A few drops in a bowl of hot water, eyes closed, face well back from the surface. Keep peppermint, eucalyptus and cajeput away from infants and young children entirely, and skip steam altogether if you are asthmatic.

In what you make. Candles, soap, bath salts, room and linen sprays. Use the dropper rather than pouring, write the count down, and you can repeat a blend you liked instead of approximating it next time.

Main Ingredients

One botanical per bottle. Each variant is a single plant oil rather than a blend, which is what makes it useful as a component: you know what you are adding, so a mixture you like can be written down and repeated.

What “therapeutic grade” means. It appears on every label in this range and it is a marketing phrase, not a certification — no regulator or standards body issues it. We report it because it is printed on the bottle, and we do not treat it as evidence of anything.

About the FDA certificate. The product images include an FDA certificate of registration for the manufacturing facility. That is a routine filing, not approval or endorsement of the oil, and the certificate states as much in its own text.

Composition varies by oil. The thirty-one behave very differently — in strength, in staying power and in who should avoid them. Cinnamon and clove are far more irritating on skin than lavender; treat each as its own product and check before using an unfamiliar one on the body.

Shelf Life & Storage

Three years, then 24 months open. Those are PHATOIL's figures — a three-year shelf life stated on the parameter panel, and a 24-month period-after-opening mark on the box. Follow any date printed on your bottle in preference to either.

Citrus ages fastest. Lemon, sweet orange, grapefruit and bergamot turn well before the woods and resins do. Frankincense, sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver, by contrast, tend to improve with a year or two behind them.

Cap it properly. Air in the bottle is what ages an oil once the seal is broken, so screw the cap back down rather than resting the dropper in the neck between uses. Cool, dark and upright is the rest of it.

Trust your nose. An oxidised oil smells sharp or faintly of varnish and can irritate skin that it never used to. If a citrus oil has gone that way, keep it for cleaning and blends and start fresh for anything going on the body.

Safety Instructions

Never neat on skin, never swallowed. Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin contact and do not ingest these oils. Cinnamon, clove, lemongrass, black pepper and ginger are particularly likely to sting or burn undiluted.

Patch test anything new. Diluted oil on the inner forearm, left 24 hours. Tolerating one botanical says nothing about the next, and reactions build with repeat exposure rather than showing up on the first go.

Citrus oils and sunlight. Bergamot, lemon and grapefruit can make skin burn more easily in sun. Keep them off exposed skin for at least twelve hours before daylight, or use them in a diffuser instead.

Children, pregnancy and pets. Several of these — clary sage, rosemary, peppermint, cinnamon among them — carry cautions in pregnancy or around young children, and cats in particular tolerate diffused oils poorly. Ask a professional before use, ventilate the room, and stop if anyone or any animal seems unsettled.

Flammable, and hard on finishes. Keep the bottle away from naked flame and heat, and wipe spills straight away — undiluted oil marks polished wood, paint and some plastics. Store out of reach of children and pets.

Caution & Disclaimer

Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, and sensitive areas. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin, and patch test any oil you have not used before.

Disclaimer: Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult with a healthcare professional before use, especially if pregnant, nursing, or under medical care. Individual results may vary. Mood, sleep and insect-repellent uses are traditional associations rather than established effects, and the “therapeutic grade” wording and FDA facility registration shown on the packaging are the manufacturer's, not certifications of quality.

FAQs
