Why Choose HIQILI 100ml Essential Oil

Chosen for frequency, not range. These twelve are the Tuesday-evening oils. A longer list looks generous on a page and mostly sits unopened; this one is built around what actually gets used.

Give citrus something to hold it. Sweet orange, lemon and bergamot are top notes — first to arrive, first to leave. A drop of vanilla or geranium underneath keeps the blend in the room for hours rather than minutes.

The other half of the range. For frankincense, sandalwood and ylang ylang, our other HIQILI 100ml listing carries those instead. Same bottles, same brand, a different twelve.

Something to run them in. The labels mark diffusion, cleaning and perfume blending. For the first, our humidifier and diffuser range sets out tank sizes and run times, which decide the drop count more than any label can.

HIQILI 100ml Essential Oil Benefits

Citrus that smells like the fruit. Sweet orange, lemon and bergamot are cold-pressed from the peel rather than distilled, which is why they arrive bright and real instead of like an approximation of themselves.

Two overlooked workhorses. Geranium is rosier and greener than people expect and does much of what rose does at a fraction of the cost. Rosemary is sharper than its reputation and cuts through a heavy blend.

A pipette and a drip plug. Both in the box, which is rare at this price. Measure drops into a blend with the glass pipette; seat the plug in the neck to trickle straight into a diffuser without decanting.

The dozen you use fastest. Nothing in this twelve waits in a cupboard for the right occasion, which is exactly why the hundred-millilitre bottle makes sense here more than anywhere.

How to Use HIQILI 100ml Essential Oil

Plug to pour, pipette to measure. Fit the drip plug for topping up a diffuser directly; swap to the glass pipette when you are counting drops into a blend or a carrier oil. Keep both — they do different jobs.

Three to five drops in a diffuser. Per 100ml of water, then adjust. Peppermint, eucalyptus and cinnamon carry much further than the citrus or the florals, so start those at the low end and work up.

Give citrus something to hold it. Sweet orange, lemon and bergamot are top notes: first to arrive, first to leave. A drop of vanilla or geranium underneath keeps the blend in the room for considerably longer.

On skin, only diluted. Six to twelve drops per 30ml of carrier oil for the body, half that for the face, patch tested first. Keep cinnamon out of skin blends entirely, and bergamot and lemon off skin that will see sun within twelve hours.

In cleaning, mixed first. Lemon, sweet orange and eucalyptus suit it, but oil does not dissolve in water — stir into a little unscented liquid soap before adding it to a spray, and keep neat oil off sealed wood and stone.

Main Ingredients

The twelve. Sweet orange, lemon, bergamot, peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender, geranium, cinnamon, rose, jasmine and vanilla — one botanical per bottle, chosen at checkout.

Pressed, not distilled. The citrus oils here are cold-pressed from the peel. It is a different process from steam distillation and it is what preserves the bright, fruit-like top that distilled citrus loses.

What the price can and cannot buy. The citrus, peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender and geranium are genuinely affordable at this scale. Rose, jasmine and vanilla are not — and jasmine and vanilla cannot be steam-distilled into essential oil at all. Treat those three as scent, not skincare material.

The marks on the packaging. Non-GMO, 100% natural, not tested on animals and a sustainable-sourcing symbol. These are HIQILI's own claims rather than independent certifications; we pass them on without treating them as verified.

Shelf Life & Storage

Citrus-heavy means use it faster. More than a quarter of this dozen is pressed citrus, and pressed citrus oxidises faster than almost anything else. Buy the ones you will actually get through within a year or so.

Amber glass and a tight cap. The bottle blocks most of the light that ages an oil. Heat and air are down to you — a cupboard rather than a windowsill, and the screw cap back on when the pipette comes off.

Use the plug for a nearly full bottle. A drip plug lets less air in than repeatedly opening the neck for a pipette. It is a small thing that helps a 100ml bottle last its distance.

Judge it by the smell. Sharp or faintly varnish-like means the oil has oxidised, and an oxidised citrus oil irritates skin far more readily than a fresh one. Move it to cleaning sprays and diffusing.

Safety Instructions

Never neat on skin, never swallowed. Dilute in a carrier oil before any skin contact and do not ingest these oils, whatever the “100% natural” wording on the label suggests.

Citrus oils and sunlight. This dozen is citrus-heavy, and bergamot and lemon in particular can make skin burn more easily in sun. Keep them off exposed skin for at least twelve hours before daylight, or diffuse them instead.

Cinnamon is the harsh one. It is among the most irritating oils in common use. Fine in a diffuser at a low drop count; keep it out of anything going on skin.

Children, pregnancy and pets. Peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary and cinnamon all carry cautions around young children or in pregnancy, and cats tolerate diffused oils poorly. Ventilate the room and stop if anyone — or any animal — seems unsettled.

Flammable, and hard on finishes. Keep the bottle away from naked flame and heat, out of reach of children and pets, and wipe spills at once — undiluted oil marks polished wood, paint and some plastics.

FAQs

Q : Comment l'utiliser (diffuseur, massage, DIY) ?
