Step 1 — Position. Hold the snuffer by the textured handle and bring the cone directly above the lit wick.

Step 2 — Lower the Cone. Lower it straight down until the cone fully covers the flame.

Step 3 — Hold Briefly. Hold it in place for a second or two until the flame is fully out.

Step 4 — Lift Away. Lift the snuffer straight up and away from the candle.

Step 5 — Clean & Store. Wipe the brass with a soft, dry cloth after use to remove soot, and store it dry.
