Can I burn incense cones or charcoal on this box burner?

It’s designed for Japanese sticks, Tibetan ropes, and regular bamboo-based sticks. Cones and charcoal discs burn hotter and aren’t recommended for use on the felt strip.

What size incense will fit?

The usable holder space is 5" L x 1" W. For longer sticks, trim the uncoated end or position the burning tip over the fireproof strip so ash falls onto the felt.

How do I maintain or replace the felt strip?

Let everything cool, lift out the strip, tap off ashes, and brush gently if needed. The strip is reusable; replace it if it becomes worn or damaged with a similar fireproof felt cut to approximately 5" x 1".
