Light the tip. Hold a flame to the tip of the stick for a few seconds until it catches and glows.

Fan out the flame. Gently fan or blow out the flame so the stick settles into a slow, even smolder.

Place in a holder. Set the stick in a stable, fire-safe holder that will catch the ash as it falls.

Ventilate and enjoy. Burn in a well-ventilated room and allow roughly 30-45 minutes for the stick to finish.

Hand-blended aromatic ingredients and binders with frankincense resin, hand-rolled on a bamboo core. A full ratio or purity specification is not published by the supplier. If you have known fragrance or plant-based allergies, consider a test burn first.

Store sticks in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, ideally resealed in their original pack between uses, since moisture and heat are what dull a masala blend's fragrance first. Kept this way, hand-rolled incense sticks generally hold their scent well for 12-24 months, though this is general guidance rather than a supplier-stated date, as no expiration date is printed on the packaging.

Always place lit sticks in a heat-resistant holder on a stable, non-flammable surface, well away from curtains, papers, and anything else that could catch, and keep them out of reach of children and pets. Burn in a well-ventilated room, and let the ash and holder cool fully before handling or discarding them.
