Potent — use sparingly. A little of clove's eugenol goes an extraordinarily long way.

In a diffuser. 1–2 drops maximum — clove is extremely potent. Blend with 3 drops sweet orange and 2 drops cinnamon for a classic warming combination.

For massage. Dilute at 0.5% or less (about 3 drops per 30ml of carrier oil) and apply to legs and back. Never use higher concentrations on skin.

For seasonal blends. Combine with cinnamon, orange, nutmeg, and ginger for a classic winter warming diffuser blend.

In perfumery. Add 1 drop to a blend as an oriental spice note — use very sparingly, as it can easily overwhelm other ingredients.

One ingredient. 100% Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) bud oil — nothing blended in.

Documentation on request. If you need an IFRA statement or allergen declaration, ask before ordering.

Cool, dark, tightly capped. Heat and daylight age the oil fastest — store the bottle upright, away from direct sun.

General guide. Stored properly, most single-botanical oils hold their character for a year or more; treat that as guidance and follow any date on the bottle first.

Mind what it sits on. Undiluted oil can mark polished or painted surfaces — decant over something wipeable.

Dilute before skin contact — always. Clove is a strong dermal sensitizer; dilute to 0.5% maximum for skin application.

Patch test first. Test a small area of skin before full application.

Use extremely sparingly in the diffuser. 1–2 drops maximum per session — more can overwhelm a room.

Avoid during pregnancy and with children. Not recommended without professional guidance.
