Clove Essential Oil
Clove is one of aromatherapy's most powerful oils — intensely warming, richly spiced, and with a characterful sweetness underneath the familiar sharpness that you simply cannot appreciate until you have spent time with pure clove bud oil. A single drop in a diffuser transforms a cold, neutral room into something that smells genuinely welcoming and alive. A small amount goes an extraordinary long way.

Why Choose Clove Essential Oil
Clove bud oil is rich in eugenol — one of the most recognizable and powerful aromatic compounds in nature, and the molecule responsible for that intense, warming, slightly medicinal character. In aromatherapy, eugenol's warming quality is genuinely felt rather than merely perceived: diffused clove creates noticeable warmth in the atmosphere, and diluted in carrier oil it creates a genuine circulatory-warming massage experience that is significantly more effective than most other warming oils.
In natural perfumery, clove is one of the classic oriental spice notes — the ingredient that gives traditionally warm, rich fragrances their depth and staying power. Used sparingly (always), it adds a richness and complexity to blends that no other single spice ingredient can provide. Combined with orange, cinnamon, and vanilla, it creates one of the most universally loved aromatic combinations in the world.

Clove Essential Oil Benefits
- Intensely warming — eugenol creates genuine atmospheric warmth that makes any space feel more inviting
- Circulation support — the warming, circulatory-stimulating quality supports blood flow in massage application
- Air purification — traditional antibacterial and antimicrobial properties extend to aromatic diffusion
- Immune season comfort — warming, purifying character is particularly valuable during cold and flu season
- Perfumery depth — an essential oriental spice note that adds warmth and longevity to any blend
How to Use Clove Essential Oil
- Diffuser: Add 1–2 drops maximum — clove is extremely potent. Blend with 3 drops sweet orange and 2 drops cinnamon for a classic warming combination. Never use more than 2 drops per session.
- Massage: Dilute at 0.5% or less in carrier oil (3 drops per 30ml). Apply to legs and back for a warming circulatory massage. Do not exceed this concentration on skin.
- Seasonal blends: Combine with cinnamon, orange, nutmeg, and ginger for a classic winter warming diffuser blend.
- Toothache home remedy: Dilute 1 drop in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and apply to the affected gum area with a cotton swab — a traditional use of clove's eugenol content.
- Perfumery: Add 1 drop to a blend as an oriental spice note — use very sparingly, as it can easily overwhelm other ingredients.
