Hem was founded in 1980, with a dedicated manufacturing facility opening in Mumbai in 1983. Today the company operates additional production sites in Bhiwandi and Bengaluru, Maharashtra, alongside a fragrance research and development lab in Mumbai where its scents are created from scratch rather than licensed from outside suppliers. Hem's manufacturing process holds ISO certification, its packaging uses recyclable materials, and the brand now exports to more than 90 countries — making it one of the largest incense manufacturers to come out of India.

How to Burn Hem Incense Safely
