Q: Do these actually float? What kind of container should I use?
A: Yes—disc floaters are designed to sit on top of the water. Use bowls, wide vases, or shallow dishes filled nearly to the rim, so the flame stays above the edge of the container. Keep the water still and away from strong drafts for an even burn.

Q: Are they totally unscented? Will they bother guests with allergies or clash with food or flowers?
A: They’re unscented, so they won’t compete with floral arrangements or food aromas and are a good pick for fragrance-sensitive guests.

Q: How long does each candle burn?
A: Typical burn times are about 4–6 hours for ~2" floaters and roughly 8–10 hours for ~3" floaters. Burn time varies with room conditions (drafts, water temperature, wick length).

Q: Can I use them outdoors or in a pool?
A: Yes—floaters are popular for patios, garden parties, and even pools. Use only in calm water, keep them clear of splashing, and never leave flames unattended. Skim any cooled wax from the water after use.

Q: Any safety or clean-up tips?
A: Trim the wick to ~¼" before lighting, place candles only in water-filled, heat-safe containers, and keep away from flammables. When floating, any drips fall into the water; let the residue cool and solidify, then lift it out. Test highly dyed candles first if you’re concerned about tinting the water.
