Calamus Essential Oil – 15ml, 30ml & 60ml

A genuine single-botanical oil. Steam-distilled calamus root, undiluted.

A distinctive, ancient aroma. Deep and earthy — an oil with real character rather than immediate prettiness.

Occasional use. A few drops in a diffuser or oil burner for an occasional grounding atmosphere, well-diluted for topical use.

Three sizes to choose from. 15ml, 30ml, or 60ml depending on how much you use.

Warm, spicy-herbal, earthy character. A deep, ancient aroma with real complexity.

Classic meditation blending oil. Used sparingly, pairs with patchouli, frankincense, or cedarwood for a centering blend.

A base-note fixative. A drop or two extends and enriches other oils in a blend.

For occasional, careful use. Contains beta-asarone — use sparingly and only as directed.

In a diffuser. 2–3 drops, used occasionally rather than daily. Combine with frankincense and cedarwood for a grounding meditation blend.

For massage. Dilute 1–2 drops in a tablespoon of carrier oil for an occasional centering massage to the neck and shoulders.

In perfumery. Use as a fixative base note — 1–2 drops will extend wear time and add depth to a blend.

Frequency. Reserve for occasional, purposeful use rather than daily diffusing, given its beta-asarone content.

One ingredient. 100% Calamus (Acorus calamus) root oil — nothing blended in.

Cool, dark, tightly capped. Heat and daylight age the oil fastest — store the bottle upright, away from direct sun.

General guide. Stored properly, most single-botanical oils hold their character for a year or more; treat that as guidance and follow any date on the bottle first.

Mind what it sits on. Undiluted oil can mark polished or painted surfaces — decant over something wipeable.

Contains beta-asarone. A compound flagged for toxicity concerns by health authorities — never ingest, and avoid regular or prolonged use.

Dilute before skin contact. Always mix into a carrier oil before applying to skin — do not apply undiluted.

Patch test first. Test a small area of skin before full application.

Not for use with children. Not recommended during pregnancy, nursing, or for children.
