Trim And Place. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch and set the jar on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable material.

Close The Week. On the final day, snuff the flame (never blow it out) and take a moment to reflect before setting the jar aside.

Shelf Life. As a general guide, stored this way, the candle holds its scent and burn quality for roughly 12 to 24 months; treat any date printed on the jar as the more reliable figure where one is present.

Buying Tip. Buy one at a time for a single seven-day practice rather than stocking multiples, since wax and fragrance both soften gradually once opened.
