Garlic / ajo macho (green) 1 color 7 day candle

Ajo Macho, or "macho garlic," is a green 7-day glass jar vigil candle rooted in a longstanding folk practice that uses garlic as a symbolic protective item across many cultures. Featuring classic garlic imagery on the jar, this candle is customarily lit for all-purpose protection, uncrossing, and everyday good fortune, and it burns for roughly 120 hours from start to finish.

In many folk practices, garlic has carried a reputation as an all-purpose helper, symbolically tied to warding off negativity and clearing stagnant energy from a space, in much the same way people might smudge a room or open a window to let stale air out. The bright green hue reinforces that protective, prosperity-minded feel, giving the candle a bold, altar-ready presence rooted in genuine folk practice rather than any single, fixed formula.

Customarily, many practitioners use this candle as a focus for symbolically clearing a run of bad luck, inviting calm, and reinforcing a sense of everyday protection at home. It is typically paired with a written petition, a few quiet minutes of daily reflection, and a full week of consistent, deliberate ritual attention rather than a single, one-time lighting.

This candle is a spiritual and folk-custom item intended as a personal focus for intention and reflection. It does not have any literal protective, medical, or physical effect on people, property, or outcomes, and it is not a guarantee of any result. Guidance Note: this candle is offered for guidance and reflection only and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

Q: What intentions is this candle good for, and what do the green color and garlic symbol represent?
A: It’s a classic all-purpose vigil customarily used to focus intentions around wellness, peace, happiness, luck, power, protection, and uncrossing/unjinxing. The bright green color is often linked to growth, prosperity, and renewal, while the garlic motif symbolizes protection and clearing stagnant or negative energy.

Q: How do I use it in a 7-day ritual?
A: Write a clear petition (e.g., protection, luck, peace) and place it beneath or beside the candle. Trim the wick to \~¼", set the candle on a heat-safe, level surface away from drafts, and burn in supervised sessions of 1–4 hours daily. Repeat your affirmation each time you relight. On day seven, snuff (don’t blow) to extinguish, offer thanks, and keep your petition somewhere meaningful.

Q: Does this candle have a strong scent or smell like garlic?
A: No fragrance is listed and the garlic is symbolic (on the imagery), not a scent ingredient. Expect a neutral to subtle wax aroma rather than a strong perfume or garlic smell.

Q: What are the burn specs and materials?
A: It’s a glass-encased green vigil candle measuring 2 3/8" W × 8" H with an approximate burn time of \~120 hours (actual time varies by care and environment). It’s made from 100% paraffin wax with a lead-free cotton wick for an even, low-soot burn.

Q: Will this remove a jinx or guarantee results?
A: Outcomes aren’t guaranteed. This candle is for spiritual/curio use to help you focus intentions and rituals. It is not medical or legal advice; for health or legal concerns, consult a licensed professional.
