100ML Pure Natural Essential Oils – Multi-Scent Aromatherapy Oil

Pairing guidance is the rare part. Knowing that geranium sits well under lemon saves more wasted oil than any amount of reading. The cards do not make you a perfumer, but they stop the first ten blends being guesses.

A hundred millilitres is a working supply. Candles, soap, melts and sprays consume oil far faster than a diffuser does. If you are making rather than just scenting, the small bottles run out mid-batch.

Carrier and oil together. Anything going on skin needs diluting, and running out of carrier is how people end up applying something neat. Buying both at once removes that particular mistake.

Every oil tells you what it pairs with. The supplier's card for each scent gives the aroma in plain words and a list of partners — lemon pairs to lavender, rose, sandalwood, eucalyptus, geranium, fennel and neroli. Most ranges leave the combinations entirely to you.

Twenty-nine, top to bottom. Bright citrus and herbs at one end, myrrh, vetiver, patchouli and frankincense at the other, with the florals and warm spices in between. Enough range to build a blend without buying elsewhere.

The carrier is in the same range. Avocado sits in the list alongside the essential oils. It is the base you dilute into for anything going on skin, and having it here means the oil and its diluent arrive in one order.

Priced by the plant. Sweet orange and rose are not priced the same, because the plants behind them are not. A single-note range where every bottle costs the same is worth a second look; this one is not that.

Start from the pairing list. Pick one oil, read what the card says it blends with, and try two of those at one drop each against three of the lead. It is a far quicker route to something you like than combining at random.

Three to six drops in a diffuser. Into the water of a unit rated for essential oil, run for sixty to one hundred and twenty minutes. Peppermint, cinnamon, clove and lemongrass carry much further than the rest — start those lower.

Dilute into the avocado. For massage, the supplier suggests one to five drops per 8ml of carrier, which is roughly a one to four per cent dilution. Stay at the low end for the face, for children and for anyone with sensitive skin, and patch test first.

In water, mix into something first. For a bath or foot soak, stir four to eight drops into a tablespoon of carrier or unscented bath base before it goes in. Neat oil floats and lands on skin at full strength, which is where bath irritation comes from.

Write the counts down. A blend you liked is only repeatable if you noted it in drops. Keep a list beside the bottles and the good accidents stop being accidents.

One botanical per bottle. Twenty-eight of the twenty-nine are single essential oils rather than blends, which is what makes them usable as components in a recipe you can repeat.

Avocado is the exception. There is no such thing as avocado essential oil. Avocado is a pressed carrier oil — a base for dilution, not a scent — and its much lower price reflects that. If you need confirmation of grade before ordering it, ask and we will check with the supplier.

What the price can and cannot buy. The lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree, rosemary, lemongrass, citronella and citrus oils are genuinely affordable at this scale. Rose, jasmine, myrrh, vanilla and sandalwood are not — and jasmine and vanilla cannot be steam-distilled into essential oil at all. Treat those as scent.

Claims and marks we do not adopt. “Therapeutic grade” is the manufacturer's phrase, not a certification. The cruelty-free and vegan marks are likewise the manufacturer's own claims. And the medical effects listed on the supplier's cards are not repeated here.

Amber glass, cool and capped. The bottle blocks most of the daylight that ages an oil. Heat and air are left to you — a cupboard rather than a windowsill, and the cap screwed down between uses.

Citrus first, resins last. Lemon, sweet orange, grapefruit and bergamot turn well before the rest. Myrrh, frankincense, patchouli and vetiver simply get rounder with a year or two behind them.

The carrier ages differently. Avocado is a fatty oil and will eventually go rancid rather than oxidise like an essential oil. If it smells stale or crayon-like, replace it — and do not use it in a blend you plan to keep.

Judge it by the smell. Sharp or faintly varnish-like means an essential oil has oxidised, and an oxidised oil irritates skin more readily. Move it to cleaning sprays and diffusing rather than discarding it.

Never neat on skin, never swallowed. Dilute the essential oils in a carrier before any skin contact and do not ingest them. Cinnamon, clove, lemongrass, black pepper and ginger are the most likely here to sting or burn undiluted.

Patch test anything new. Diluted oil on the inner forearm, left 24 hours. Reactions often build with repeat exposure rather than appearing the first time, so one comfortable use is not proof.

Citrus oils and sunlight. Bergamot, lemon and grapefruit can make skin burn more easily in sun. Keep them off exposed skin for at least twelve hours before daylight, or diffuse them instead.

Children, pregnancy and pets. Peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, clary sage and cinnamon all carry cautions in pregnancy or around young children, and cats tolerate diffused oils poorly. Ventilate the room and stop if anyone — or any animal — seems unsettled.

Nut and seed oil allergies. Avocado is a fruit oil and not a tree nut, but if you react to pressed plant oils generally, patch test the carrier on its own before blending anything into it.

Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, and sensitive areas. Always dilute essential oils in a carrier before applying to skin, and patch test any oil you have not used before.
