7 Day Orisha-Elegua Candle

7-Day Burn Time. A single fixed candle provides roughly a week of daily devotional use.

1. Prepare the space. Choose a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable before lighting.

2. Begin your prayer. Light the wick and focus your intention or petition in keeping with the practice.

3. Burn in stages. Let it burn for a comfortable interval, then extinguish it if you're leaving the room; never leave it burning unattended.

4. Repeat daily. Relight once a day, trimming the wick to 1/4 inch each time, until the candle is fully spent over its 7-day span.

5. Finish safely. Discontinue burning once about 1/2 inch of wax remains, and dispose of the empty glass safely.

Wax & Wick: Made with a real-wax fill poured directly into the glass, set around a lead-free cotton wick. The wax is dyed in the customary red-and-black pairing to reflect Elegua's customary colors.

Storage: Store upright in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, with the glass kept clean and free of dust between lightings.

Shelf Life: As general guidance, an unused candle like this is typically good for 12–24 months when stored properly; this is an estimate rather than a guarantee, and any date marked on the packaging takes precedence.

Buying Tip: Because this candle is meant to be burned down over a single 7-day ritual, most practitioners buy one at a time rather than stocking up.

Open Flame: This is a real burning candle in a glass container. Never leave it burning unattended, and always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface well away from curtains, papers, and other flammable material.

Children & Pets: Keep the lit or unlit candle out of reach of children and pets at all times; the glass container can become hot during use.
