Cool, dark, tightly capped. Heat and daylight age these oils fastest — store bottles upright, away from direct sun.

General guide. Stored properly, most scents in this range hold their character for a year or more; treat that as guidance and follow any date on the bottle first.

Mind what it sits on. Undiluted oil can mark polished or painted surfaces — decant over something wipeable.

Dilute before skin contact. Always mix into a carrier oil before applying any scent in this range to skin — do not apply undiluted.

Patch test first. Test a small area of skin before full application, especially with a scent you haven't used before.

Away from eyes, never swallowed. Keep clear of eyes, inner ears, and mucous membranes; rinse with plenty of water and seek advice if irritation persists.
