Light the tip. Hold a flame to the tip of the stick for 10-15 seconds until it catches.

Let it settle to an ember. Blow out the flame gently — the tip should glow and release a steady stream of smoke.

Set it in a holder. Place the stick upright in a heat-safe incense holder, away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable.

Let it burn undisturbed. A full stick takes roughly 30-40 minutes to burn down; avoid moving it while lit.

Extinguish and store. Once burned down, confirm the ember is fully out before leaving the room, and store remaining sticks away from heat and humidity.

Auroshikha's incense sticks are hand-rolled from natural herbs, flowers, fragrant woods, and essential oils; the exact formulation behind the opium note is proprietary to Auroshikha and not published by the manufacturer. If you have known fragrance sensitivities or allergies, we recommend burning a single stick in a well-ventilated space before regular use.

Store the pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, both of which can dull the fragrance and make the sticks brittle. Kept this way, incense sticks generally hold their scent well for 12-24 months, though this is general guidance rather than a supplier-stated date, since Auroshikha does not print an expiration date on the packaging.

This is a burning product that produces an open ember and smoke when lit. Always burn it in a well-ventilated room, on a stable, heat-safe holder or dish, well away from curtains, papers, and other flammable material. Never leave a burning stick or cone unattended, and keep both the lit product and the ash it produces out of reach of children and pets. Fully extinguish the ember in sand, water, or a dedicated ash catcher before leaving the room, and let the holder cool before handling or emptying the ash.
