Light a charcoal disc. Hold a flame to the edge of a charcoal disc until it catches and begins to spark, then set it in a heatproof burner.

Let it settle. Wait a minute or two for the disc to develop an even grey ash coating before adding resin.

Add a small amount of resin. Place a small piece of resin on top of the glowing disc; a little goes a long way.

Let it release its fragrance. The resin will melt and smoke gently as it warms, releasing its fragrance into the room.

Burn safely and let it burn out fully. Burn in a well-ventilated space on a stable, heatproof surface, and let the charcoal burn out completely before disposal.

This set includes four natural resins — Frankincense, Myrrh, Gum Damar, and Gum Benzoin — at 15 grams each. These are raw, unblended tree resins rather than manufactured incense sticks or cones; the exact source and grade of each resin is proprietary to Auroshikha and not published by the manufacturer. If you have known fragrance sensitivities or allergies, we recommend burning a small amount of each resin in a well-ventilated space before regular use. Charcoal discs and a heatproof burner are required to burn these resins and are not included in this pack.

Store the resins in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, ideally in a sealed container, since resin can soften or clump in heat. Kept this way, these resins generally hold their character well for a year or more, though this is general guidance rather than a supplier-stated date, since Auroshikha does not print an expiration date on the packaging.

Burning resin requires a lit charcoal disc, which reaches a very high temperature and produces an open ember. Always burn on a stable, heatproof holder or dish, ideally one filled with sand or ash, well away from curtains, papers, and other flammable material, and in a well-ventilated room. Never leave a burning charcoal disc unattended, and keep both the lit disc and the resin out of reach of children and pets. Handle the charcoal disc only with tongs, never bare fingers, and let the holder cool completely before handling or emptying the ash.

Caution: Keep burning incense on a stable, heat-safe holder or dish, away from curtains, papers, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning stick or cone unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
