Cold cast resin detail. Cold cast resin holds fine surface detail well, from the hieroglyphic pedestal to the figure's features, better than a simpler molded material would.

Egyptian Bastet motif. The sculpture depicts Bastet, a cat-headed figure from ancient Egyptian mythology, kneeling on a pedestal and holding the glass dish above her head.

Tealight-warmed burner. A tea light candle placed beneath the dish gently warms whatever fragrance is inside, turning a sculptural piece into a working oil or wax burner.

Add your fragrance. Place a wax melt, a wax tart, or a few drops of oil into the glass dish.

Cool before cleaning. Let the burner cool completely before moving it or washing the glass dish.

Cleaning. Wipe the resin figure with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth; wash the glass dish separately once it has fully cooled.

While lit. Never leave a lit tea light unattended, and keep the burner away from children, pets, and flammable material.

Handling. The glass dish becomes hot during use — never move it while hot, and wait for it to cool completely before washing.

Candle type. Use standard tea light candles only, sized for the space beneath the dish.
