Natural insect deterrent. The citronellal and PMD content make lemon eucalyptus one of the more studied plant-based options for mosquito and insect deterrence.

Fresh, clean atmosphere. Diffused indoors, it creates a bright, lemon-fresh scent that reads as clean rather than sweet or floral.

A gentler alternative to standard eucalyptus. The same clearing, green character as Eucalyptus globulus, with a softer, more citrus-forward edge.

Versatile, everyday use. Works equally well as a pure diffuser scent or as the base of a DIY outdoor spray.

In a diffuser. 4–5 drops for a fresh, clean, lemony atmosphere. Blend with lavender and cedarwood for a more rounded scent.

As a natural insect spray. Add 20–25 drops to 100ml of water in a spray bottle, shake before each use, and apply to exposed skin and clothing before going outdoors. Reapply every 60–90 minutes.

For massage. Dilute 3–5 drops in 15ml of carrier oil for a refreshing, clean-scented blend.

For steam inhalation. 2–3 drops in hot water with a towel tent for a gentle, fresh, clearing steam.

One ingredient. 100% Corymbia citriodora (lemon-scented eucalyptus) oil, steam-distilled — nothing blended in.

Naturally contains citronellal. The compound most linked with its lemony scent and insect-deterrent character.

Cool, dark, tightly capped. Heat and daylight age the oil fastest — store the bottle upright, away from direct sun.

General guide. Stored properly, it typically holds its character for a year or more; treat that as guidance and follow any date on the bottle first.

Mind what it sits on. Undiluted oil can mark polished or painted surfaces — decant over something wipeable.

Dilute before skin contact. Always mix into a carrier oil or water-based spray before applying to skin — do not use undiluted on the body.

Patch test first. Test a small area of skin before full application.

Away from eyes, never swallowed. Keep clear of eyes, inner ears, and mucous membranes; rinse with plenty of water and seek advice if irritation persists.

Not for young children. Not recommended for children under 3 years old due to the eucalyptol content. Cats are particularly sensitive to eucalyptus-family compounds — keep diffusing rooms off-limits to cats and store the bottle securely away from all pets.

Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, and sensitive areas. Not recommended for children under 3. Always dilute before skin application.
