Light the Charcoal. Using tongs, light a charcoal disc and let it ash over until it glows evenly on all sides.

Set It in the Bowl. Place the lit disc into the burner using the tongs, not your hand.

Add Resin or Incense. Sprinkle a small amount of resin or loose incense on top of the glowing charcoal.

Place on a Safe Surface. Set the burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable items.

Let It Cool, Then Clean. Once the charcoal is fully out and cool, empty the ash and wipe the finish with a soft, dry cloth.
