HEM Precious Musk Incense Cones

A well-established incense house. Hem is one of the longer-running Indian incense manufacturers, known for handcrafted incense cones made in small batches.

Rooted in ritual and folk tradition. In folk tradition, musk fragrance has been associated with setting a warm, romantic mood. We share this as cultural context for setting your own mood and intention, not a means of influencing another person's feelings or will.

No holder required. Cones are self-standing and burn down completely, so any heat-safe dish or ash catcher works.

Pair it with a proper holder from our Incense Holder & Burner collection.

Precious Musk Note. A rich, musky fragrance long favored for creating a warm, cozy, sensual atmosphere, handcrafted in small batches.

10 Cones per Pack. Hem's standard incense cone pack size, enough to try a new scent.

~20-30 Minute Burn. A typical burn time for a self-standing incense cone.

Self-Standing Cones. No bamboo core — the cone burns down completely, so only a heat-safe dish or ash catcher is needed.

Light the tip. Hold a flame to the tip of the cone for 10-15 seconds until it catches.

Let it settle to an ember. Blow out the flame gently — the tip should glow and release a steady stream of smoke.

Set it on a heat-safe surface. Place the cone upright on a heat-safe dish or ash catcher, away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable.

Let it burn undisturbed. A full cone takes roughly 20-30 minutes to burn down completely; avoid moving it while lit.

Extinguish and store. Once burned down, confirm the ember is fully out before leaving the room, and store the remaining cones away from heat and humidity.

Hem's incense cones are handcrafted from a blend of woods, resins, florals, and essential oils; the exact formulation behind the precious musk note is proprietary to Hem and not published by the manufacturer. If you have known fragrance sensitivities or allergies, we recommend burning a single cone in a well-ventilated space before regular use.

Store the pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, both of which can dull the fragrance and make the cones brittle. Kept this way, incense cones generally hold their scent well for 12-24 months, though this is general guidance rather than a supplier-stated date, since Hem does not print an expiration date on the packaging.

This is a burning product that produces an open ember and smoke when lit. Always burn it in a well-ventilated room, on a stable, heat-safe holder or dish, well away from curtains, papers, and other flammable material. Never leave a burning stick or cone unattended, and keep both the lit product and the ash it produces out of reach of children and pets. Fully extinguish the ember in sand, water, or a dedicated ash catcher before leaving the room, and let the holder cool before handling or emptying the ash.

Caution: Keep burning incense on a stable, heat-safe holder or dish, away from curtains, papers, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning stick or cone unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
