Product Details
Kamini Frankincense Incense Cones carry the aroma of a resin that has been burned in devotional and ceremonial settings for centuries. Ten cones come in the pack, each burning for roughly fifteen minutes, and a small metal stand ships with them, so there is nothing further to buy before the first cone is lit.
Frankincense on its own is brighter than people expect from a resin. Beneath the obvious gum note sits a faint citrus-and-pine lift, and without myrrh or a floral element pulling at it, that lift comes through clearly. It is the cleanest reading of the resin available in this range, and the least heavy.
That makes it a good match for a short burn. Fifteen minutes is a defined session with a start and a finish, which suits prayer, a focused sit, or a few minutes before work more naturally than an hour of background fragrance would. The rest of the cone range sits in our Incense Cone collection.
If you have burned the frankincense and myrrh blend, this is the same family with one element removed. Myrrh contributes a darker, faintly bitter earthiness that gives the pairing its weight; take it away and what remains is lighter and more direct, which some people prefer for daytime use in particular.
The cone is aromatic material the whole way through, with no bamboo core to dilute it, so the resin arrives at full density within a minute of the flame going out. That density is worth respecting in a small closed room: open a window, and let the stand and ash cool fully before tipping them away.
Store the box closed somewhere cool and dry, since damp is what dulls a pressed cone's fragrance first and also makes the tip harder to light evenly. For resins in other formats and the rest of the Kamini range, see our Incense collection.
