This is a concentrate meant to be metered out by a diffuser, which is what lets a room sit at one steady level of fragrance all day instead of swinging between too much and nothing.

The trial size and the working size are the same oil. Scent is difficult to judge from a description, and a profile that reads beautifully can be wrong for a particular room. The 100ml bottle lets you live with a scent in the actual space for a week; the 1000ml refill is that identical blend at working volume, so nothing changes when you scale up.

One profile across a whole building. Because the bulk size supports several machines at once, reception, corridors and treatment rooms can all run the same scent. A building that smells consistent from door to back office reads as deliberate; three rooms running three fragrances reads as an accident.

This is that effect in a bottle — a reception, treatment room or shop floor that reads as considered rather than merely clean.

Holds all day. A spray is loud for an hour and gone by lunchtime. An oil metered through a diffuser keeps a room at one steady level from opening to close, so the fiftieth visitor of the day walks into the same space the first one did.

Seventeen signature profiles. Hotel classics sit beside standalone blends like Lavender Sandalwood, Osmanthus Oolong and Desert Rose, so you can match the fragrance to the room instead of building the room around whatever scent the machine came with.

Half the cost per millilitre. The 1000ml refill works out at roughly half the per-millilitre price of the 100ml bottle. Once a scent has earned its place in the room, keeping it running costs noticeably less than repeat-buying small ones.

Shake before every fill. Aroma concentrates settle between uses. A few seconds of shaking keeps the blend even, so the first fill of the day smells like the last one.

Fill to your machine's own guidance. Capacity and dilution differ from unit to unit, so follow the manual that came with your diffuser rather than a fixed number of drops. Waterless and nebulising machines take the oil neat into the reservoir; water-based ultrasonic units should only be given fragrance oil if the manufacturer says so.

Start low, then climb. Begin on the lowest intensity setting and raise it over a day or two. Scent is easy to over-apply and hard to take back out of a room, and a level that feels right when you walk in is usually too strong for someone sitting in it for hours.

Clean the reservoir between scents. Residue from a previous oil mixes with the next one and dulls both. Run the machine dry and wipe the reservoir out before switching profiles.

Store it capped and cool. Heat and daylight break down aromatic compounds. Keep the bottle tightly closed, out of direct sun and away from heat sources, and the scent holds its character to the end of the bottle.

A fragrance concentrate, not a single-botanical oil. This is a blended aroma oil formulated for diffusion equipment. It is not sold as a pure single-source essential oil, and it is not a therapeutic or clinical-grade product.

Composition varies by scent. Each of the seventeen profiles is its own blend, so the aromatic materials behind Lavender Sandalwood are not the ones behind Westin White Tea or Desert Rose.

Cool, dark and tightly capped. Heat, daylight and air are what age an aroma oil, in that order. Store the bottle upright in a cupboard or box rather than on a sunny windowsill or beside a radiator, and close the cap firmly between fills so the blend is not sitting open to the air.

Judge it by the scent, not the calendar. Oils change from the top down: the bright, fresh opening notes fade first, while the heavier base notes hold on. A blend that has darkened noticeably, thickened, or lost its opening lift has oxidised and will smell flatter through a diffuser, even if nothing about it is unsafe.

General guide. Stored as above and left unopened, aroma oils of this type typically hold their character for around two years, and an opened bottle is best used within about twelve months. Treat that as guidance rather than a guarantee, and follow any batch or date information printed on the bottle in preference to it.

Buy the size you will actually get through. A 1000ml bottle feeding a commercial diffuser daily will be gone long before age becomes a question. The same bottle running one machine occasionally at home will not, which is the case for starting with the 100ml size and reordering rather than stockpiling.

Diffuser and scenting equipment only. This oil is not a skincare or massage product and it is not food. Do not apply it directly to skin, and do not swallow it.

Keep away from children and pets. Store the bottle out of reach and site the diffuser where it cannot be knocked over. Some animals, cats in particular, are more sensitive to airborne fragrance than people are, so always leave a pet a route out of a scented room.

Ventilate the space. Scent a room that has some air movement rather than a sealed one, and stop use if anyone develops a headache, irritation or any other reaction.

Away from heat and open flame. Keep the bottle capped, cool and out of direct sunlight, and never place it on or beside a hot surface or a lit candle.

Wipe up spills promptly. Concentrated aroma oil can mark polished, painted and plastic surfaces. Clean any spill straight away rather than leaving it to sit.
