Fill the bowl. Add a few drops of essential oil to water, or place a wax melt, in the ceramic dish.

Light the tealight. Place a standard tealight in the base and light it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Let it diffuse. Gentle heat from below releases fragrance gradually through the room.

Wrap up safely. Extinguish the tealight before leaving the room, and let it cool fully before refilling.
