Nandita Sacred Purification Incense Sticks

Nandita Sacred Purification Incense Sticks are hand-rolled from essence oil, natural resins, herbs, spices, gum and aromatic barks on a sandalwood base. Woody and musky, 15 g per pack, approximately 45 to 60 minutes per stick.

A sandalwood base, named. The base is stated outright, which is what gives the musky notes something solid to sit on.

Aromatic barks, specifically. Aromatic barks are named alongside the gum and resins, an unusually detailed ingredient statement.

Musky rather than sweet. Woody and musky is a heavier register than most of the range, closer to an altar than a living room.

Set out a holder first. No holder comes in the pack, so have a fire-safe incense holder ready on a stable, heat-resistant surface before you light anything.

Light the tip. Hold a flame to the tip of the stick for a few seconds, until it catches and the tip glows.

Fan the flame out. Fan the flame out rather than blowing hard on it, so the stick settles into a slow, even smolder instead of an open burn.

Ventilate and enjoy. Set the stick in the holder and burn in a well-ventilated room away from drafts, flammable objects, children, and pets. Let the ash and holder cool fully before they are cleared.
