Agate's banding is one of its most distinctive features, formed as mineral-rich water deposited layers inside a rock cavity over long periods. This mix showcases that natural variety across genuine agate stones rather than a single uniform color.

Because agate comes in such a wide natural color range, a mixed pack like this reads as more visually interesting in a vase or display than a single-color alternative — without needing any dye to achieve that variety.

It works well as a functional vase filler alongside items from our Tumbled Stone collection, adding both color and weight at the base of an arrangement.

Genuine Banded Agate. Agate is a banded form of chalcedony, and the layered patterns visible in these stones formed naturally inside mineral nodules over time.

Naturally Varied Colors. Because agate's coloring comes from trace minerals present during formation, this mix spans a real range of grays, browns, reds, and other natural tones.

50g or 100g Packs. Two straightforward pack sizes cover a small vase-filler quantity or a larger display need.

Vase & Display Filler. The natural color range and smooth tumbled finish work well as a filler in glass vases, dishes, or plant pots.

Choose a size. 50g suits a small dish or accent; 100g gives more coverage for a vase base or larger display.

Fill or layer. Use as a base layer in a clear vase, scattered in a planter, or grouped in a small dish.

Look for banding. Turn individual stones to see the natural layered patterns characteristic of agate.

This is a mix of genuine natural agate — a banded variety of chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz) — tumbled and polished with no dye added. Natural color and banding pattern vary from stone to stone.

Agate does not expire and, as a quartz-family mineral, is fairly durable in storage. Keep away from harsh chemical cleaners and prolonged exposure that could dull the polished surface over a very long period.
