6" medium size. The larger of our two natural-finish cobra stands, this size comfortably supports medium spheres and burning bowls that would overhang the smaller 4-inch base.

Hand-carved tripod. Each of the three cobra-shaped legs is shaped by hand from the same block of wood, giving the base genuine sculptural detail rather than a machine-turned look.

One-piece wood build. Because it is carved from a single piece of wood rather than joined parts, there are no glued seams or fasteners to work loose over time.

Foldable for storage. The cobra-leg design collapses flat when not displaying an item, making it easy to store or pack alongside other altar pieces.

Set it on a flat surface. Place the 6" tripod stand on a level, stable surface so its three carved legs sit evenly and support weight without wobbling.

Add your display item. Rest a crystal sphere, abalone shell, or small bowl in the top opening, checking that it seats securely and is balanced before letting go.

For burning bowls, add a heat-resistant liner. If displaying a smudge bowl or charcoal, use a heat-resistant shell or bowl as the burning surface — never place embers directly on the wood — and keep it on a nonflammable surface.

Care for the wood. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after use, and keep it away from moisture and prolonged direct sun to preserve the natural finish.

Materials. This stand is hand-carved from a single piece of natural wood, finished in its natural, unstained tone. Because it is made from natural wood, grain pattern and tone vary piece to piece, so no two stands look exactly alike.

Storage. Keep the stand dry and out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade or dry out the wood over time. Dust with a soft cloth, and if the wood looks dry, an occasional light coat of food-safe mineral oil helps maintain its finish. Avoid soaking it or using harsh cleaners.

Fire safety. If you set a burning bowl, charcoal, or smudge material on this stand, always use a heat-resistant bowl or abalone shell as the burning surface — never place hot charcoal or an open flame directly against the wood. Use the stand on a flat, stable, nonflammable surface away from curtains, paper, or other flammable material, and never leave burning material unattended. Keep away from small children and pets while in use.
